While the game itself was fun at first, ads aside, the new zone design is just... horrible. You enter just to be nerfed to a tiny percent of your stats. The upgrades don't actually upgrade you, they just restore a percentage of your existing stats. I cleared everything available in the first hour only to be hit with a door that requires maxing the new upgrades...the only way to do that is to wait like 3 weeks of actual, unskippable time, to get the cubes to unlock the upgrades. It's awful.

I really like the idea, character upgrades follow the increased difficulty...up to a point. I'm at a stopping point, trying to gather certain quest items when I'm clearly far from being advanced enough to complete them, the items I need to level aren't yet provided. Agents are too tough, i die quick. Satellites are too fast, i can't catch up. I'm at the peak of my level unless i grind for days. I've stopped playing as much because each level doesn't advance me enough to move forward, its boring

Fun until you get to the satellites. The "hard" ones are just unfun. They are always faster than your alien, no matter how many upgrades you get, and just fly off the map where it's impossible to reach them. Then the game starts goading you into making micro transactions to make your alien stronger, like ooh maybe if you buy this you'll be able to catch them! I gave up on the last set. Too annoying, not progressing at all since they just scale speed and health and will boost away off the map.
