This is a great game and I really love that it doesn't have ads. If you aren't buying in game currency, leveling up some of the cards and your castle can be a bit slow, but the game is fun enough that it doesn't even matter. My only real complaint is that I sometimes get messages about my connection, which cause very noticable lag or match disconnection. I don't think it's necessarily an issue on my end, though I wouldn't honestly mind if it didn't cause me to lose trophies, sometimes.

What I have noticed over the past 5 to 6 years of playing this game is....the more you play, the more you lose. They have a very well-built and equipped algorithm, "Pay to win". If you abstain from playing, your first 5 to 8 opponents are relatively easy to defeat, but afterwards, you struggle to get a win. This is built into the game to make you want to "pay to win" classic sales gimmick! Very clever Castle Crush! I won't fall for your tricks! Be careful,fellow gamers!

No update for over a year. Says it all really!! I forgot my log in details, so I had to start again. As many of the previous reviews state, it's a pay to play game. The matchmaking is awful, How can a level 3 be matched against a level 8? You'll win 3 or 4 games, then be matched against rediculously high players, so you drop down a castle. It's fun until you reach Castle 3, then you either pay to advance or take months just to progress to the next castle. Shame, as this was once a good game.
