Ohhhh my lord this game is fun. It has everything I want. Free-flowing movement, modern input buffering, cancellable animations, good hit/hurtbox coding, and to top it all off, fast combat. I highly recommend an 8BitDo controller BT connected to your phone. It makes this feel like a genuine console experience. Also, it has those optional difficulty spike fights really early in the game. You know, the ones you're totally not supposed to try hundreds of times? Who doesn't love those?

It is a v. gothic game. A great deal of symbolic artwork imo. A person could love it or hate it. I loved it. The soundtrack is good, the graphics are exact and v. evocative. For people less into the dark ages or the truly gothic or postmodern and deconstructive, more into character or high impact plotlines I can perhaps see some criticism arising. I, myself, feel no such criticism and like the game very much.

I will be buying this game. It's worth $7. Easy. I do have a couple of minor complaints. Holding anywhere on the screen to heal is absolutely horrible. lol. I was wasting so many potions. Maybe change it where you tap on the bottle to heal. Actually there is no 2nd complaint. Bluetooth controller works very well. Which actually fixes my first complaint if you have a controller. So far, awsome game. If you like metroidvania games definitely check this one out. You have till the endofthe1stact

One of the best side scrolling action RPGs I've ever had the joy of playing. I find it novel that the developers give a strong head nod towards the dark souls series of games and whole genre that has spawned from that one game alone. The small amount of money that the developers are asking for full access to the game is well worth it. Nothing but replay value and enjoyment out of this game over and over and there's even still several loot catches and secrets I have yet to find or unlock. 10/10!

Pretty neat side scrolling action platformer. You fight hoards of zombie like demons and level up w light RPG elements as you take on a story that so far is extremely vague. Not at all challenging (so far, only just past the opening of the travel portals) so makes for a decent time killer when you want to just hack and slash at things old school SNES style. It does seem to get a lot of "inspiration" from Dark Souls aesthetically but is not at all that type of game. Try it, it's fun.
