Was excited to pick this up on mobile since I already love the game on PC. The mobile controls are relatively good, but it does take some getting used to. However the optimization of the game is poor. Been having framerate stability issues on top of very choppy audio. The audio was bothering me so badly I had to turn it off which I feel is really inexcusable. I may not have the most t up to date phone but it isn't by any means bad and should be able to run this no problem. Get it on PC instead.

Fun gameplay, interesting story and massively cluttered UI. Thats my only issue and i could not assign half my stuff to where it needed to be, cant open new territory because the food button never showed up when selecting a new area. The lacking tutorial and the UI made it unplayable because I couldnt advance at all. Fix this and it would be up there with Civ.

It's a fantastic game. The controls on mobile are mostly good, but I find selecting people and moving people around much more difficult than on pc. The thing that keeps me from playing the mobile version more often is the fact that it is on a MUCH older patch than the pc version, which I expect won't ever change unless they really hustle. Otherwise, I really do enjoy this game both mobile and pc.

So I have this game on the pc, first and foremost there's no conquest, which I am super bummed out about because that was my favorite game mode on there lol, but thats not why I'm not giving it 5 stars. Yes the game does crash once in a while but honestly I've just been playing single player instead of multi-player and it saves my game so it really isn't too big of a deal, it does set you back like 5 mins of game play but again not a huge deal to me. Overall I really like the mobile version.

Update 24.10.23. Can't play anymore. Game crashes whenever I start a custom or story mission. Was good, now it's more focused towards pc play. Even at the bottom of the screen there's an option to hold alt or control to select one item. Not a thing on phones. Game crashes when trying to use powers consistently. When storms come the screen turns so dark you might as well put your phone down as you can't see anything.
