Sky On Fire : 1940 is an indie WW2 flight sim !
The game takes place in the early years of the war , from the battle for France to the battle of Britain. 4 nations will be playable : Germany, France, England, and Italy. You can fly different aircraft , including legends such as the Spitfire, Hurricane, B.P. Defiant, Bf 109, Bf 110 Ju 87 , Ju 88 or He 111.
Multicrew makes it possible to control each individual crewmember in your aircraft, you can even let the AI pilot and light up ennemies on your 6 with a rear gun !
Use the mission editor to create your own scenarios, and with a free camera and photo mode, you will be able to save your best pics.
Engage in dogfights with a challenging AI, thanks to the mission editor, you can decide to fight either in a 1v1 or in a huge battle with dozens of airplanes.

Overall, fantastic game and especially from 1 person. You should be proud of yourself. The graphics aren't fantastic but I like the blocky look, it makes it feel like a cartoon. But it is definitely no cartoon the physics are fantastic and the gameplay is awesome. I do wish that I could control the plane a little easier but that is pretty much it. :+1: Edit: what does the mission creator mean when it says I don't own an aircraft

This game is a very well made WWII plane simulator. Little to no ads, simple controls, and iconic planes to select. The only problem that I have that makes it only a 4 star game is that it's quite hard to destroy enemy planes. They will speed right by you if you are not fast enough. Since it's a mobile game, it's quite hard as well to move around quickly and maneuver around flak when your on a phone. I think this game could be better off as a PC game.

Over all a wonderful game, and the fact that it was made by ONE person is insane, but I wish the game had a bit more meat to it. A bit more content, like campaign levels. And maby more of a use for the planes up for purchase. I bought all three things from the store, and besides mowing down bombers, I haven't found much use for all of them. IDEA: add ground vehicles that can be controlled and so there is somthing for all the ground attk planes to do. Multiple players?......

This game has great potential for the state in what it is right now. I really like it and i recomend it. A few graphical bugs but nothing mayor. Pretty solid for a mobile game. I just wish to have like a what to do list on the mission that are available cuz once you finnish the mission it become like a freemode. Oh!! And a repair station on the air base will be nice. Overall I am hyped to see what's coming next.

It is a pretty game. Honestly, it "could" compete with some major dogfight games. Bit it has lots of work still needed, but being an indy game, it is a very good game. They game controls are kinda hard in the beginning, but it gets easier when you learn how to use them, which makes it fun, it is harder to get a kill unlike other dogfight games on mobile where you get tons of kills.

The only problem that I have that makes it only a 4 star game is that it's quite hard to destroy enemy planes. They will speed right by you if you are not fast enough.
