Sat on my Switch wishlist and then I got rid of the Switch, but this game still looked so good I finally bought it, and it's WORTH IT (it's also not $40-60, or even close)! The art, the music, the characters, the gameplay: it's ALL good. It's a rogue-like type Action adventure. It's not too easy or hard on Normal difficulty. It requires thought, but not some intense walkthrough type amount, and it's never frustrating. THIS is the kind of game AAA studios WISH they'd put out!

Played through the free version, polished and fun game, can be grindy and the controls take time to get used to. Got to the area immediately after the first in the paid version, and a flying enemy crashes the game 10% of the time it attacks. Not worth trying to RNG my way through the next area, no bug report button I can see, this game is 4 years old. Crashing issues in the second area of the game really shouldn't be happening, coincidentally right after people buy the game.

I really really wanted to like this game. The artwork is gorgeous, I like the playstyle and narrative, but the controls are APPALLING and you die so frequently it gets incredibly frustrating. Respawning back at the floating city and having to fly back to the beginning again every time gets irritating fast, not worth it. Improve the controls, give the character some actual resilience, and this game could be brilliant fun.
