Folks have asked for more free content, and that is happening. The Blackwater Swamp scenario will be FREE for everybody. This happens in Update 750, that's going to arrive in Dec 2024 or Jan 2025.
A very short "preview" version of STRANDED ISLE is becoming available to Raven/Wolf owners in December 2024 and an improved map in January.
Update 740 testing is going on, and hits play store as soon as we've ensured there's no major bugs.

The old 2018 version codebase was in such state that it became impossible to add new features and eventually this version would have been removed from stores due incompatible android. The whole game codebase was redone (twice) and the new version now is the only one available. This lead to choices that were either "old version is lost forever" or "new version replaces it" and the "new version replaces" was the choice. Some of the classic features have been fixed in update 680 and please do keep giving feedback.
There's been requests for a "classic" version within Survive so emailing smokesignal@thesurvivegame.com with subject line "CLASSIC" can impact development plans.

Please check out "for humans" privacy policy at thesurvivegame.com - Game never requires creating email account or giving your name or other information.

* IN-APP PURCHASES (IAP): You can buy full version, style pack and such. There are no "gems" or "ads" type of stuff.

What's new
741: fixes inventory ui, fixes several bugs, tweaks crafting recipes, achievements, rescue handling (after 3 days from sending the radio call) and adds new content to Grizzly Mountains. New content requires restarting the scenario. The health/hydration etc icons now ”fill” based on how much is remaining. Inventory UI is reorganized to ensure it works on different devices. Gameplay has been tuned to be somewhat more difficult now.

Played this game years ago (around 2017) and kept checking in each year. I've played it a few times over the years and it's nice to see more varied backgrounds and audio. Something about the in game night time feels... Nostalgic. I'll keep checking in every year or so. Keep up the good work. @Juuso reinstalled and the tutorial works fine. It would freeze on the tutorial after pressing "Access the Situation". But it seems to work now. Edit: Pike Lake tutorial

Been playing this since the original. I like the new version. I enjoy it. Edited from 12/24/2023: I have been able to attain most achievements, some are still buggy but the addition of Grizzly Mountain was awesome. Giving more avenues to succeed in the Swamp n was nice too. Looking forward to the new scenarios. And, still trying to catch the legendary Pike.

Thanks for the updates; game gets more and more interesting. One suggestion, on the next update, could u include "boil water to drink right away", that was very useful. (Update) In previous version, u could boil water immediately and then drink if u had an active fire and nearby water source. It was faster than manually drinking from can, refilling with unsafe water, then boiling again
