Wingspan is a relaxing, award-winning strategy card game about birds for 1 to 5 players. Each bird you play extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your three habitats. Your goal is to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves.
You are bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves. Each bird extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats. Each habitat focuses on a key aspect of the growth of your preserves.
In Wingspan up to 5 players compete to build up their nature preserves in a limited number of turns. Each beautiful bird that you add to your preserve makes you better at laying eggs, drawing cards, or gathering food. Many of the 170 unique birds have powers that echo real life: your hawks will hunt, your pelicans will fish, and your geese will form a flock.
Features: * Relaxing strategy card game where your goal is to discover and attract the best birds. * Single player and multiplayer modes for up to five players. * Based on the award winning, competitive, medium-weight, card-driven, engine-building board game. * Hundreds of unique, animated birds with their real life sound recordings. * Multiple ways to accumulate points with birds, bonus cards and end-of-round goals.

The physical board game is absolutely amazing; the creators clearly put a ton of work into the quality, mechanics, and artwork. The mobile game is no different. It's probably the most thought out board game adaptation I've played! It's not just a port of the pictures/text overlaid on trash shapes (Concordia, Spirit Island, Teraforming Mars). The user interface is smooth and intuitive, the birds move, and they even included accurate bird calls for each unique bird. Can't recommend this enough

Update: Uggh, wish I'd never bought the Oceania expansion. Gameplay is now so clunky & complicated. Can't even move between habitats w/o pushing the nectar button. ___ Love this game, but twice in the last two days I've played against the automata and at the end of the game there is no calculation; it glitches so I can see my habitats and nothing else. There is no final score calculated. These were good enough games that I might have beaten the automata. I'd like to be able to see and save.

EDIT: Months later, I still can't get access back to my purchase of the European expansion. A great mobile adaptation of the board game with great presentation. Performance is just ok, and could be optimized better. My one major complaint is that the IAP expansion restore breaks a lot. Be wary about using the app on multiple devices as my secondary devices can't use the pricy expansion I already paid for because of this bug. Please fix before the next expansion, or I won't be getting that one.

This game is great but the app has a painful UI/UX. The app reminds me every open that I dont have notifications on, despite this being my preference. Drawing cards from the deck can glitch and only show after clicking cancel. Inconsistent ways to cancel as well make the ui clunky. The scrolling between habitats also still happens when something is popped up above it.

My brother and I LOVE this board game, so we almost constantly have a game going in the app. Problem is, about every 1 in 10 games, the AI gets "stuck" and we can't finish the game. SUUUPER annoying bug, hopefully it gets fixed eventually. Update 9/16/23 - I now officially can't get into the game at all, even after a full reboot, then reinstall. Dunno if y'all are favoring iPhone users or what, but us Androids would also like to be able to play, please.
